Reading the landscape
Bitterleaf grows on hillsides, Sunberries around the village and Silvermoss in the woods. Rarer ingredients have their own habitats: Emberroot grows near the shrine heights, while Moon Orchid grows in the forest.
Beyond the veil
Voidcap is found in the dark forest, Ghostbloom on Dark Realm hillsides and Starshard near the shrine there. These ingredients enter your unsecured expedition bag and are available for brewing only after safe extraction.
A harvest is not a recipe
A successful harvest identifies the ingredient. Its recipes must still be learned separately before you can brew them.
Returning to a gathering site
Plants and deposits regrow during active gameplay. A Dark Realm site can be harvested at most once per visit, even when its regrowth timer has elapsed. Resting refreshes the beginner herb garden, but does not refill exotic gathering sites.
In the world
Where to find Foraging
Circles identify gathering habitats. Individual plants are placed on suitable clear ground within or near these areas. Dark Realm harvests must be safely extracted before use.
